Building Permits
for your protection

Wise homeowners make sure they have a permit from their city. This will ensure that the contractor is registered and licensed within the city, and the state of Michigan. Roof One’s Michigan contractors license is #2104159547.

Most cities require the contractor that will be doing your roofing project to pull the permit.

Building inspections are done for your protection by the local city building department to assure that the roofing project meets the city and state codes.

Misconception:  Many people resist getting a permit because of the misconception that your property taxes will be increased because of the new roof—but that is not true. Do have a permit issued as the contractor suggests.
